Kunstfaam
Open Atelier KunstFaam is an initiative of Klasiena Soepboer, born and raised on Schiermonnikoog, ceramist and teacher of visual art and design. Trained at the Minerva Academy, Groningen and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam.
Klasiena collaborates with other artists who, like herself, create art, exhibit and - in the course of 2016 - also give workshops. Klasiena herself is the constant factor in the studio. Other artists work as artist in residence for shorter or longer periods in the studio, they exhibit in the gallery and give workshops and lectures about their field. This can vary from visual, painting, ceramics to writing.
For artists, KunstFaam is a multi-day workplace and offers an exhibition space and a workshop full of materials.
For the art viewer, there are changing exhibitions in the exhibition space, an open workshop and from the spring of 2016 also workshops.
You can also shop at KunstFaam! For example, you can recently also buy t shirts and bags with your own drawings, but also cards with my sketches and cool jut jewelry from Rob van de Wiel and of course buy art.
