Description

Just a review: "Actually, perhaps, the most beautiful place in Schier. Authentic and beautiful house!". Aurora is located in a prominent and central location in the old village.
Aurora is unmissable at the junction of Nieuwstreek and Langestreek. This former captain's house can be rented for up to five people.
At the front is a beautiful terrace with Fermob furniture, where you can relax from early in the morning until late in the evening. At the rear, the veranda and terrace offer a lot of privacy. At the rear of Aurora is a 50 meter deep authentic garden with terrace, bordered by hedges. There are several seating areas in this lovely, quiet garden.

Ground floor :
The house is modern and tastefully decorated and is fully equipped. The living room turns into the kitchen. The living room with dining table and six chairs has a well-stocked bookcase and an audio system including radio, Spotify, USB and Bluetooth. The china cupboard naturally contains the crockery and glassware, but you can also find games. From the kitchen there is a double door to the terrace with veranda at the rear of the house. The kitchen naturally has all appliances, including a dishwasher, citrus juicer, microwave, double refrigerator, Nespresso machine, Senseo and coffee maker. The television room has a lovely lounge sofa with a large lounger. The TV channels can be viewed crystal clear from the couch.

The bathroom has a sink and a shower.
A washing machine and a tumble dryer are provided in a separate cupboard.
The floating toilet is opposite the bathroom.

First floor :
Upstairs is the master bedroom with a view of the Got Tjark, the Town Hall and in the distance Hotel van der Werff and Hotel Graaf Bernstorff.
The master bedroom has a large double box spring (180x210cm).
From the dormer window at the rear, the light of the lighthouse can be seen in the distance.
There is also a second bedroom with three single beds.
Both bedrooms have sufficient closet space. The second bedroom also has a chest of drawers.

Outside :
At the front there is a lovely terrace with a Fermob sofa, large dining table and chairs. There are two large parasols for sunny days. From the terrace, life in Schiermonnikoog passes by.
At the rear there is also a spacious terrace with a large veranda.
Both terraces are brightened up in the summer by a beautiful sea of hydrangeas. Behind it is the original Schierse overtuin with plenty of privacy.

The stairs to the top are quite steep!

Smoking is not allowed in Aurora.
We love dogs but due to allergies they are not allowed to stay in our house.
