Anyone who spends their holiday on Schiermonnikoog will find everything their heart desires: meadows, forests, salt marshes, beach, sea and dunes. If you stay at the “Kooiplaats” you will be in the middle of the most beautiful flora and fauna that the island has to offer. Due to its location, on the edge of the dunes and close to the salt marshes, the “Kooiplaats” is an ideal starting point for beautiful walking and cycling trips. At some distance from the “Kooiplaats” is the completely renovated duck decoy with which the farm is culturally and historically linked.

De Kooiplaats offers its guests a wide range of accommodation options:
- four group accommodations for larger groups,
- six apartments and a house for smaller groups or families,
- eight fully equipped tents for a comfortable stay.

Online reservations are not accepted for student associations and football clubs, but can only be reserved under conditions in consultation with the owner.

Because the farm at De Kooiplaats is still fully operational, guests can experience all aspects of farm life. Watch and experience for yourself milking cows, shearing sheep, ensiling grass, feeding chickens and ducks. An experience for children that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
