Whoever spends his holiday on Schiermonnikoog will find everything his heart desires: meadows, forests, salt marshes, beach, sea and dunes. If you stay at the "Kooiplaats" you will be in the middle of the most beautiful flora and fauna that the island has to offer. Due to its location, on the edge of the dunes and close to the salt marshes, the “Kooiplaats” is an ideal starting point for wonderful walking and cycling tours. At some distance from the "Kooiplaats" is the completely renovated duck decoy with which the farm is culturally historically connected.
Because the farm at De Kooiplaats is still fully operational, guests can experience all aspects of farm life. See and experience for yourself milking cows, shearing sheep, silage of grass, feeding the chickens and ducks. For children an experience they will not forget for the rest of their lives.
Le Tréport is a spacious group accommodation that can accommodate up to 43 people. Le Tréport is a separate building on the farm. Groups usually stay here. In holiday periods, especially in the summer, there is no rental to groups. The double and six-person rooms can then be booked individually. Check the availability calendar for the possibilities.
Downstairs there is a spacious living room or recreation room and a large kitchen and there are five six-person bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet. One of these rooms is suitable for the disabled and has an adapted shower, toilet and sink.
On the upper floor are six double bedrooms with private shower and toilet. Outside there is a spacious terrace with private grounds.
You have access to the following shared facilities:
- one cozy living room with comfortable sofas,
- the activity room with, among other things, a pool table,
- lots of space to eat together,
- large spacious kitchen.
Alles sauber, sehr gesellig, netter Aufenthaltsraum, super Küche und klasse Umgebung, schöne Fahrradwege. Etwas abseits vom Dorf aber schön gelegen.

Voor herhaling vatbaar
Het waren een paar leuke dagen de accommodatie was super. Maar we waren ook bijna alleen in een 30 persoons accommodatie dat was anders geweest dat deze vol was waarschijnlijk. Maar zo als het nu was was het prima mooi leuke boederij kan je echt naar toe met de familie.
